Free Halloween Countdown Coloring Page
The Spooky Season is here! This year, I wanted to prepare something extra fun (and free!) for all the Animal Lovers, whether they're subscribed to Animail Adventures or not. And what's a more fun way to kick off the Halloween countdown than with a giant coloring page? Did you know the huge print I showed you on my Instagram cost me less than $5? Yes! It's a Staples trick you might have seen on social media. The secret? Engineer prints!
Used by engineers, architects, and creative moms, these prints are usually black and white and as big as 36x48 inches! The best part? They only cost a few dollars and provide fun for hours.
Steps to print your copy:

ABOUT THIS HALLOWEEN COUNTDOWN COLORING PAGE
The idea of animals dressed in Halloween costumes popped up in my head one evening, and I just couldn't let it go. There are so many cute trick-or-treaters on this coloring page! There is a koala dressed as a mummy, a raccoon dressed as a bandit, a pirate parrot, and a magician rabbit. I thought the sloth wearing a Flash costume was pretty clever. You could also add an "I Spy" game element to this coloring page!
So, to answer some of the questions that might pop up:
- It's free! You can download and print as many copies as you'd like for your personal use, classroom, or library—as long as you're not selling them. I'd love to see you use it! Please tag @animailadventures if you do so that I can find you and share it. :)
- How do I get the download? Type in your email address at the top or bottom of this page, and it will come right to your inbox.
- When does the countdown start? The 19th of October is the first day of our countdown, and the last day is Halloween.
- There are 13 numbers hidden on this coloring page—one for each countdown day.
- This coloring page has 13 Halloween questions (found at the bottom) about all the dressed-up animals! You can use them as writing or storytelling prompts. They're so fun, and I'm curious to hear your answers!
I hope you and your family will enjoy it as much as I loved creating it! Don't hesitate to get in touch with me on Instagram or by email if you have any other questions. You can also shop our Animail Adventures letters from the top of the page.
