REINDEER - animailadventures

REINDEER

Reindeer make a variety of sounds, including grunts, snorts, and bellows, which are used for communication with other members of their herd. Males will 'bellow' when it is mating season, and baby reindeer, called calves, might ‘bawl.’

Reindeer also make clicking sounds when they move, that emanate from their tendons which slip over the bones in their feet when they walk.
