Sea otters make all sort of fun and interesting sounds to communicate with each other. 🎶
Squeals: High-pitched calls, typically made by pups seeking their mother’s attention for food or comfort.

Whistles: Short, sharp sounds used for communication between otters, especially when they're playing or hanging out.

Cooing: Soft, gentle “mmm” sounds that otters make when they feel happy, cozy, and relaxed with their friends.

Growls: Deep, low-frequency sounds used to express warning to potential threats or rivals.

Hisses: The sound otters make when they feel scared or want to show they’re in charge.
